ITALIAN COUNTRY DOUGH

Join us for an easy, hands-on introduction to artisan bread baking at home using a Dutch oven. Italian Country dough is a versatile dough that can be used for any number of rustic loaves. In this class we will focus on the ciabatta loaf and a pizza bianca. We will take you through the recipe step-by-step and show you how to mix, proof, shape, and bake your own rustic breads. All ingredients will be provided along with a paper proofing tray and linen proofing cloth you can transport your dough in. All you need is a 5-7 quart cast iron or enamel Dutch oven at home and an appreciation for the smell of freshly baked bread in your kitchen!
