ITALIAN COUNTRY LOAF
Class size is limited to 6 students.
The Italian Country Loaf is a crusty white bread made with a traditional Italian biga pre-ferment that gives it a delicious earthy flavor and chewy texture. We will take you through the recipe step-by-step and teach you how to mix, proof, shape, and bake your own loaf. All ingredients will be provided along with a linen proofing cloth you can take your dough home in to bake. All you need is a 5-7 quart cast iron or enamel Dutch oven at the ready and an appreciation for the smell of freshly baked bread in your kitchen!
